SUMMARY:CHEERBLEEDERZ // TINY STILLS (LA)
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS \nTiny Stills is an indie rock band from Los Angeles featuring Kailynn West\, Chris Clark\, Jenny Merullo\, and Avery Okamura. Together\, they deliver emotionally charged power-pop with heart-on-sleeve honesty and grit. Blending sharp melodies with confessional lyrics\, Tiny Stills turns growing pains and heartbreak into anthems for anyone finding strength in vulnerability. For fans of: Weezer\, Charly Bliss\, The Beths\, and The Menzingers. \nDriving\, fun and catchy as hell\, you couldn’t go so far as to say that this is a comeback (as the band have been working non-stop behind the scenes since their 2020 EP\, lobotany) but with these three brilliant new offerings so far\, it’s safe to say that cheerbleederz are firmly back in business for 2022. \nNew track ‘cute as hell’ is the first taste of new material since 2020 single ‘sometimes i cry at work’\, which landed cheerbleederz a cover shot on Spotify’s Hot New Bands playlist and a spot on The Rock List\, plus key radio support from John Kennedy (Radio X) and Tom Robinson (BBC 6music). \nWith early live appearances at Manchester Punk Festival and Switzerland’s inhumano Fest\, alongside tours with contemporaries The Winter Passing\, flirting. and ME REX already notched up\, the band drew early praise from the likes of DORK\, UPSET\, CLASH\, BBC Introducing\, God Is In The TV Zine\, Loud Women\, Already Heard\, For The Rabbits\, Austin Town Hall\, and a host of underground blogs and zines. \nAlready boasting a fine pedigree of lo-fi underground hits between their individual members’ various bands (Fresh\, ME REX\, and Finish Flag)\, with their new project the trio have hit upon an instantly infectious brand of no-frills\, melody-driven punk. Taking influence from the likes of The Breeders\, Snail Mail\, Hop Along\, Alvvays\, Charly Bliss and Cayetana\, their songs touch thoughtfully on the lived experiences of women and marginalised people.

SUMMARY:Burned As Witches (Rick McMurray from Ash) - Special Pre-Release Show
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS \nRenowned Ash Drummer Rick McMurray unveils his solo project as Burned As Witches with a self-titled album set for release on 17th April. \nBurned As Witches lands in the briefest of interludes from that day job in Ash\, who’ve basically been working non-stop since the releases of ‘Race The Night’ in 2023 and the current ‘Ad Astra’ album. As Rick says\, “if you’re expecting some slices of powerpunkpop then think again” as Burned As Witches positively drips with riffing heaviosity\, big-boned solos and beefy chord crunchings. This is intense\, on all levels. McMurray also plays every note on every track. This is NOT like the day job ! \nBurned As Witches started as a way to deal with the untimely passing of Ash’s long term live agent\, friend and rock’n’roll hellraiser Steve Strange in 2021. Inspired by The Strange One’s love of metal – this record was conceived in mourning and is all about the doom\, full of chunky riffs and weighty themes. Rest very much unassured\, Burned As Witches is an out and out rock album\, as Rick ruminates: \n“It started just with me writing some pretty dark riffs after we’d played The Roundhouse on our much postponed anniversary tour. We thought that gig would put the COVID years to bed but it turned into a wake for Strangey. By the time I started putting the music down in demo form I realised I was writing a tribute record to him. \n“That was too much to take and the demos went on the hard drive where solo projects go to die. But it kept tugging away at me. After a few months and a few tours I had another listen\, which brought an epiphany\, in which I heard the words\, ‘It doesn’t have to be about me.’ Now I’m not saying Strangey spoke to me from beyond the veil or anything; it was probably my subconscious but whatever\, I realised how proud he would have been to have been the inspiration for me. Steve. I miss you and love you\, you mad bastard. We all do.” \nSupport comes from Claudia

SUMMARY:ASH
DESCRIPTION:TICKETS – SOLD OUT \nPerennially power-popping Northern Irish trio ASH released their ninth studio album\, ‘Ad Astra’\, on October 3rd 2025. Containing eleven brand new tracks\, as well as their fruitily raucous take on surprise lead-off single and ‘Beetlejuice’ staple ‘Jump In The Line’\, ‘Ad Astra’ sees Blur guitarist Graham Coxon appear on two particularly sassy songs and catches the Ash group in especially rocket-fuelled form. \nThey are heading to Pop Recs for a special one-off ‘warm-up’ gig ahead of this year’s festival performances. \nSupport comes from local riot grrls Claudia.
